As toaster ovens go, it performs satisfactorily. In the broil position the rack is very close to the heat source so one must pay close attention during the broiling process. I sometimes broil in the center position. Meat such as chopped beef placed on the rack in the broil position will release fats which have a tendency to pop. This could be a problem if not monitored. Toasted breads are just a bit of a disappointment as slices tend to toast unevenly. It offers many control features which allow for a lot of flexibility. The unit appears to be of high quality construction and material. Think this company’s quality control is first rate. So far it has been a pleasure to clean. Overall I like the product but it may be over priced.
